The Why is important to start any startup. So what is the Why for brainy?

There’s a growing body of evidence showing that purpose-driven companies are more successful.

When thinking about your big idea the starting point should really be your why. Too often we dive straight into building solutions rather than thinking about why we’re doing this in the first place.

  • What’s driving this big idea?
  • Who’s needs are we serving?
  • What’s led us to this point?

If a paycheck is just a means to an end, how do you know when you’ve reached it? Is it after five years? 10? Or when you finally make a down payment on a house? The more material possessions you acquire -- a car, a house, that timeshare in Vermont -- the more that steady, safe paycheck becomes a crutch. So ask yourself, “Why am I doing this?” (Source: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/243737)

Above are a few lines from different articles. Links are given. So, what is the story behind Brainy?

We think of different ideas but have no time to execute any. So we start thinking about some kind of community-driven idea. Asif thinks of the name and we start Brainy. But what is ours why?

I write the article on my medium blog about brainy when I start this project.

This blog explains my thinking behind Brainy.
